CHARITY

Since birth,we are taught how to take,
Accept even the smallest of things & make our own big lake.
Even the child takes everything in his hand,
Be it just some black, sticky sand.
Then you grow to take someone else's seat in a school,
It's so obvious, you're not supposed to understand that & be a fool.
Then you expand, learn to take money & favours,
You won't care about anything, even if it's your own 20 year old neighbour.
After you've had your share, you go seek the love you want,
Repeat the same old feat & get it with the same old charm.
Then, when there are instances where you have to let it all go,
Suddenly, an apple falls on to your head & you say a big NO!
Have you ever wondered, there's so much to give,
Leave and let live.
There are so many smile's to spread, shoulder's to lend,
Their worth? Well, its a hell lot, more than you'll ever spend.
In the same way there is love to spread,
It'll give so much hope, that one may earn his golden bread.
In the same way, I gave away my heart,
It did give everything back to me, but got hunted down by a thick sharp dart.
When I fell on the floor, I could just hear my own shout,
Did someone ever held me tight? That's one big f****ing doubt.
Now, I've wiped all that blood & washed my face,
Swimmed back to the shore, with a bitter taste.
But again, here I am, back on my feet,
To do another CHARITY, with a new pair of teeth.
With a hope, that pulled me up,
This time, to get something back in my empty cup.
My arm's are wide open to have your true love,
Watching out from all those weapons, not to shove.
